Any commercial dealings or contracts entered into with CSF and the terms and conditions of trade shall be governed by Scottish law.
CSF may change the terms and conditions and the content of the website pages - including prices, products and offers at any time. Please ensure you read the terms and conditions each time you visit the site to ensure you are aware of any changes. You will be asked to read and accept the terms of the sale each time.
No other terms or conditions will apply.

2. Pricing
All prices are stated in GB pounds sterling and where applicable include VAT at the current standard rate. Prices do not include delivery.
For advance order items, CSF reserves the right to charge updated prices valid at the time of despatch and any updated carriage charge.
CSF always try to ensure that the price of an item is correct. If an error should have occurred we will contact you and you will have the option of confirming the order at the correct price or cancelling the order. If we cannot contact you we will treat your order of the incorrectly priced item as cancelled.
3 . Ordering
Payment - on receipt of the order your debit/credit card will be authorised and charged. If for any reason authorisation fails we will contact you to confirm the details given. On receipt of your payment you will receive a confirmation email of the order.
Availability - as many of CSF products are produced by artisans and smallcheesemakers, we cannot always guarantee availability and therefore reserve the right to send a substitute product of similar style/quality. If no suitable substitute is available we will contact you for further instruction.
Weights - CSF make every effort to cut cheese accurately however it isnot an exact science and cut cheese will be offered as close as possible to the requested weight. As a handmade product, whole cheeses (ie wheels/truckles) may vary slightly (more or less) to the description.
Packing - your order will be packed in the appropriate temperature controlled boxes to ensure the quality of the product.
4. Delivery
All orders are despatched using Parcel Force Worldwide.
Orders placed before 12 noon will be despatched for next day delivery subject to stock availability.
Orders placed after 12 noon will be despatched the following day for next day delivery subject to stock availability.
Any perishable items order after noon on Thursdays will be sent out on Mondays for delivery on Tuesdays.
Stock availability - any delay over 2 days and we will notify you by email.
You will be notified by email the day your order is shipped. Your order will be delivered the following day.
We delivery on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Friday for the standard rate of 5.95.
Orders over 100.00 will be delivered free of charge Tuesday to Friday.
Deliveries for Saturdays are charged at 9.95.
We do not delivery on Mondays.
Deliveries to the Islands (except Skye) incurs a 6.00 surcharge and is on a 2-3 day service
International Deliveries: please contact us by phone or email for an individual quote.
Delivery - you will receive a confirmation email when your order is dispatched. you will also be issued with a tracking number. Your order will normally be delivered within 24-48 hours. You must ensure that somebody is available to sign for the delivery at the specified address. We cannot accept any responsibility for orders that are returned due to no signature being available at the delivery address. We also cannot take responsibility for delivery delays due to adverse weather conditions. A full detailed address including any flat number (if applicable) and a full postcode must be provided for all requested delivery addresses. If the delivery is to a third person, their full name must also be provided.
Receipt of order - check the order and notify CSF immediately if any item is damaged (email photograph required) or missing. All perishable items should be placed immediately in a refrigerator. We cannot stress strongly enough that cheese is best served at room temperature. Please refer to the storage and serving card included with your order.
5 . Returns
Returns are accepted only if the goods are damaged. You must inform CSF within 24 hours of receipt of the order by email or phone. We will arrange to uplift the item(s) in the original, complete and undamaged packaging. If the item is not returned in the original packaging, CSF reserves the right to refuse a refund on the item. All returned goods must be accompanied by the delivery slip that accompanied the order.

6 . Cancellations
Advance orders for specific dates must be cancelled no less than 5 working days before the delivery date requested. Orders cancelled within the 5 days will be charged in full.
As all orders other than date specified are immediately processed for despatch, any cancelled order will be charged in full.
